The CDDSC Canadian Closed Championship for amateur will be held into the competition « La Coupe du Défi » organised by Aldor & Andrée Grenier, February 24th, 2007.

The Championships will be held into the following categories:

- 16+ pre-bronze
- 16+ bronze
- 16+ silver
- 16+ gold
- 16+ gold star
- 16+ pre-championship
- 16+ Open

For the Canadian Closed Championship, a couple can register in one championship per style (1 standard, 1 latin) along with his current classification within the CDDSC.

The winning couple of each championships will be automatically selected to represent Canada at the World Dance Trophy in accord with his level and following the bellow chart:
